The video was watermarked "parody 100% made with AI." Cuomo shared it anyway, then pivoted to attacking AOC about Hamas. It's even dumber than it sounds.
There is also very loud misogyny in the “sounds like you” because Alexandria is incredibly intelligent and consistently speaks with restraints and decorum on the house floor (precisely bc she knows certain people expect a younger woman of color to be a dummy!)
Conservatives, whether Democrat or Republican, carry around in their heads an assortment of imaginary liberals, and they love to imagine these nonexistent people saying dumb or outrageous things. Then, when real liberals/progressives/lefties stubbornly refuse to say the dumb/outrageous thing, they just pretend we said it anyway. You don't have to look far to find an example who lives right in this thread.
he's always been a big, dumb lug. his gushing hand-offs to Lemon were always embarrassing. and saying this obvious fake sounds like AOC underlines again his leading quality: the big dumb. he thinks she talks like Marj Greene or Lauren Boebert—he doesn't even know AOC is smart. that's how dumb he is.
The only defense I can offer of Chris Cuomo is that he's a pathetic failson who knows how to read a teleprompter, which is not really the same thing as being a journalist.
It really feels like the Cuomo brothers are actively competing to see who can reach the bottom of the barrel first, assuming they still haven't already reached it or that such a bottom exists. Also, I really like the idea of "a nesting doll made of bullshit" to describe the larger media landscape at the moment. Thank you for the new addition to my vernacular.
AI is much more likely to capture left political people as they have been peddling fake memes and narratives for over a decade. They frankly have lost the capability to identify what is real and what is bullshit. It is hilarious to watch.

These threads have been so much less vitriolic since the block, it's relaxing.
Well, you haven't been missing anything. If he ever comes up with a single new idea, I'll let you know.
Ugh

He fell for his brother’s word too.
Thank you Parker, for articulating throughly exactly how Cuomo is manipulating his huge error. I always appreciate your clarity!

To be fair, chris cuomo is dumber than a kumquat.

And then, along came frank to prove the entire premise of the article he definitely read, like the chewed-up apple core he is.
"I know you are but what am I" is such an extremely fresh take on the situation.
