The AP has a reputation as a straight-shooter, but articles like these show how sloppy and partisan they can be.

Yesterday, on Twitter, Brendan McPhillips, the campaign manager for Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Fetterman, tweeted out a screenshot from an Associated Press article titled, “Fetterman, Oz vie for Black voters in close Pa. Senate race.” The piece opened like this:
