Another example of how Trump and his Christonazi/Neoconfederate rabble are making sure their "Unified Reich," the former United States, replaces Nazi Germany as the most sadistically cruel nation in human history.

"While their lawyers were drafting motions to dismiss Trump's ridiculous $20 billion lawsuit, guess what was mysteriously held up? Their pending merger approvals at the FCC."

Maybe the corporate addiction to mergers is a problem? Can't just exist as they are while they fight this in court? No, we must MERGE and we must MERGE NOW.

Thank you, Parker, tremendous reporting! This is the whole nut, the exception of US companies to fill his coffers, and solidify his power.

"Why would a major media company hand over $16 million to settle a case they would almost certainly win? "

They wouldn't. They only settle the cases that they know they will lose. When the FCC succeeded in getting them to release the full transcript of Kamals word salad spew from the interview, they knew it was over.

Have you even considered doing the hypocrisy hyperbole check in considering Fox News doing the same thing here for a Trump interview? Personally, I would welcome a fine to any news corporation scrubbing and polishing a presidential candidate interview to make the candidate look better or worse than what the actual interview resulted in. I think they should get fined, sued and blasted... and if they do it again, lose their broadcast license.

Please give us a quote that you consider to be word salad, so that we may know the undeniable truth of your claims rather than infer it.

That was the basis for the lawsuit.

"Israel-Hamas war question: Harris's lengthy response (140 words in one instance, 179 words in another) on what the US could do to end the war between Israel and Hamas and address the actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was cut down significantly for the "60 Minutes" broadcast."

My God, she needed MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED WORDS to explain how she'd bring peace to the Middle East? Shocking, if true!

This is not a quote of the word salad. This is you giving somebody else's description of the word salad.

Please provide a quote of the word salad. It can be the exact 140 words if you like. You have the transcript.

He's pathetic, isn't he? His candidate won, he could just be enjoying life, but instead he's counting how many words Kamala Harris, the losing candidate, used in response to a question in an interview SEVEN MONTHS AGO because he must exist in a permanent state of grievance. It's easy to see why he identifies with Trump, a man who has been given far more from life than he deserves and yet still seethes with resentment.

Ok, Journalism 101 says if you are presented with a garbled answer, you edit for clarity and try to make it more intelligible. How is that actionable? If she said in one answer that "Bibi was a fascist" and you left that out-big deal. But her answer did not materially change, just one version was rambling and the other was digested. SOP in any newsroom. The suit was frivolous and should have been thrown out.

What the hell do I know, I'm not a lawyer, but if you bring a suit aren't you supposed to show how you've been harmed? Trump won the election, what damages did he suffer? If we're gonna base lawsuits on just "I didn't like what you did", I'm calling my lawyer tomorrow, because I've got a LONG list of that kind of shit.
