My own newsletter this week is about the splashdown, itself, which I thought was phenomenal. But in watching NASA's own live coverage of the event, I was completely stunned that they had also capitulated to this Gulf of America bullshit. I know ... funding, etc. But these people are scientists! The returning astronauts left the planet flying over the Gulf of Mexico nine months ago, and splashed down last week into an entirely different world.

I think there's a movie about that, the astronauts splash down and find the apes are in charge. It even features Stephen Miller's fondest dream: The Statue of Liberty in ruins.

There is a huge gulf between those news outlets that are still willing to call a spade a spade and those willing to dig themselved into a deeper hole at the behest of tyrant's tantrum.

NPR stated the astronauts splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico, at least the early report I heard. I hope they continued with that reporting and didn’t reverse and capitulate.

The only acceptable explanation of the Gulf of Mexico renaming for me would be to also acknowledge how deeply unpopular it is both here and abroad.

"Gulf of America" is more geologically correct given that it is surrounded by North and Central America. But more importantly, "Gulf of America" triggers irrational liberals because Trump ordered it.

So, "Gulf of America" it is.

Meanwhile Musk saves stranded astronauts and orders some dolphins to welcome them and celebrate the achievement. That too triggers irrational liberals and hence need to be replayed.

Exactly, for a similar example, just do a Google search on what Volgograd used to be called.

Hey Frank, while you're here: The government can take you and throw you in prison and claim you're a criminal, and they never have to present any evidence to a judge or jury to prove that claim, and you're not allowed to defend yourself in court. You OK with that? That the kind of country you want to live in?

We got rid of the regime that would do that to American citizens. Things are good now.

We did, and then you voted it back in, you dipshit.

So your answer is, "Yes, I'm fine with that." Because the government never makes mistakes? Because the people imprisoned aren't YOU?
