Lady Gaga's reaction is a great inclusion in this piece because I think it captures the sentiment of most average Americans who don't obsess over what genitals everyone has. These right-wing chuds who fearmonger over the mere existence of LGBTQ people in public spaces are the ones who need help. They're clearly not mentally well.
The highest virtue in America is ownership. The folks who see themselves as Real Americans will never tolerate any cultural institution that they don't own.
Personally I think the Lady Gaga response is the second-best one; #1 is simply “Shut up you ugly fuck,” which I’m deeply disappointed hasn’t become universal yet.

Bud Light absolutley paid the UFC and White to rebrand them following the “woke” controversy, knowing the cultural cache White and the UFC have conservatives, as well as young, apathetic men. It worked, though it took some time. Just another example of how much political sway the cagefighting organizarion has now, and how their brand of brash masculinity works on that audience.
