I believe in 'no tax on tips' and always giver severs cash instead of adding it to the bill. Grandma needs the money. That said, staging this delivery at the gilded entrance to the Oval Office was farcical. Can only hope Trump polishes off all the food in the bags to add substantially to the clogging of his arteries.
On top of this being a staged event misrepresented by major media outlets, it's grotesque that people are resorting to gig work to pay their medical expenses while mega corporations are paying way below the statutory tax rate. But wow...DoorDash delivery at the White House!
I'm again feeling like we've lost the thread if we're praising "tax refunds" instead of asking why grandmas need to participate in the gig economy instead of being able to afford to retire...
Only a fool would have believed this is real. Trump would never interact with the mere peasant who delivers his food because it’s beneath him and he hires people to do that for him.
trump is so incompetent that he thinks alienating allies is a good way to start a war, ... and
'the media' thinks the way to increase eyeballs is to serve up words and pictures that disgust people.
alienation as a marketing technique. huh.
i know more than a few people who do what i do: turn off the radio when his voice comes on, turn the page when his picture appears. we don't want to let him that far into our daily lives.
of course we read about his (usually illegal and destructive) actions, because we don't dare forget anything about what he did or how he did it; useful rebuilding, post-trump, will depend on us remembering his crimes.
but spare us the invitation to give his clowning or 4d chess the attention he craves. what does he mean? what will he do next? what effects do political insiders think his staggering around might have? who cares; he's not that interesting. you're right that journalists should get those stories right, but why write them, anyway?

Apparently, in order to save $11,000 in taxes from no tax on tips, as some stories said, you’d have to earn north of $150,000-$250,000.
Sorry for the typos. I mean 'give servers cash' instead of adding tip to the bill.

Question: are headline writers taught to bury the truth or are they sent straight from Hell to torture us?
