I appreciate both you calling out the anti-trans rhetoric in Project 2025, as well as highlighting other folks content discussing it more in depth.

I think their manifesto, that’s what I’m calling it anyways, is incredibly alarming and from what I can tell the average person doesn’t even know it exists.

Thanks. And yeah, this is supervillain kind of stuff, and the average person doesn't seem to know this is what the GOP has in mind.

Absolutely horrifying. People need to be talking about this, it needs to be common knowledge what they’re trying to do

There’s no way the country wants to go in this direction

As I’ve said here before, I’m a cis male who strongly belies that all LGBTQ people should be able to freely live their lives as they must. Project 2025 is utterly disgusting.

"This is a nightmare scenario that can’t be enacted if everyone who cares about their freedom and future turns out to vote."

Yes, totally agree, I'll just add that it can't be enacted if "everyone who cares about their freedom and future" turns out AFTER the election no matter how it comes out. As much as I hate to think of the possibility, we need our own Project 2025 just in case Trump wins. How can we obstruct and defeat these bigots if the worst happens?

"We need our own Project 2025" is the best comment I've read all day. Lets stop playing defense for once.

It is legitimately frightening to consider that A) Donald Trump is once again a viable presidential candidate, and B) that, once again, Joe Biden is the only person standing between him and the Oval Office.

Germany is not even 3/4 the size of Texas, yet the NAZI ideology seems to be pervading everything-everywhere-all-at-once lately. There is no escape from it, and when they come to power there will be *no* escape. No point in believing otherwise, the way news media keeps forcing it in our faces. After 2000 years, Jesus' Holy Roman death-cult has finally won.
