It's hard to get more fucked-up than that, but it is only Monday, just give 'em time.

Everyone expected Saturday Night Live to cover Britt, but I was a bit pleasantly surprised that they picked up on the falsity of the story. Before the New York Times?

I'm really glad they did! ScarJo's open is being shared all over and doing a better job correcting the story than the Times, for sure.

I'm pretty sure the Times is sticking with "misleading" instead of "lie" because she didn't EXPLICITLY say this happened during the Biden administration but only IMPLIED it. The Times should just put out a Liars Manual that spells this out for any liars who don't want to be called out for their lies (or at least not by the oh-so-careful word choosers at the Times.)
