You are so smart. This is so smart. And that's all I have to say about that.

The part about how he's telling people to hold up a blank piece of paper — essentially admitting the whole thing is phony posturing — is so telling.

Exactly. I was like, “Whoa, whoa, whoa. Yes, I understand why people are taken aback by the “kill shot” thing, but there are some other very, very questionable moments in this that deserve attention!”

Jon Cooper is one of those bad-faith grifter Twitter people who traffics in lies that people want to hear. I don't see how he's any better than pukes like Benny Johnson or Molly Hemingway. I don't know how he monetizes it, or maybe he's just happy because he has a ton of followers. I remember specifically one time he posted that he had heard that Trump was meeting in the White House to announce his resignation. Weird that that never happened -- either that he announced his resignation or that anyone has written about such a meeting happening.

Yeah, I tend not to pay attention to his account, but I saw that post of his and it was just so dishonest. That’s exactly what it is: lies people want to hear.

I'm seeing this article after conservatives lost their minds about Lorenz doing basic reporting for the Libs of Tik Tok story, including making calls and going to people's houses. Megan McCain called her a sociopath.

Watters brags about O'Keeffe going to people's homes to "shove a microphone in their face" and "goes to people’s homes and sticks mics in their face and makes them ashamed of themselves".

Sigh.

Remember when people were crowing about "civility" after having Trump administration officials harassed when they go out to eat? It was disingenuous from the right and center-right then and it is now.
