Holy hell. I didn't hear about Bari Weiss spiking this Ron Wyden story until now. It's distressing to see a once-revered news network get eviscerated before our eyes.
One key way to fight it is to do what a growing number of people are doing - completely & totally shun CBS. Make them burn the whole thing to ash.
The other good news? Time is NOT on the Ellisons' side, as the judge in the Attorneys' General case set the trial for March of 2027 - and by that point, the cut/leave fees will be upwards of $1.5B. And the shareholders are NOT happy about that.
I read his blather BS in the Times the day it ran. I also posted a comment, like others. I didn’t read all the other comments nor did I keep a copy of my post. But I made no bones about one thing. Like you, Parker, I didn’t/don’t believe him — not any more than I believe tRump or psychopath Greg Abbott.
So I said so. I posted that he’s “a liar.”
It pains me that I must call out those moderating the comment section as cowards. But I have no other explanation for them spiking my comment. Has the Times decided to bend at tRump’s and MAGAt’s knee?
