Of course he is. He rarely leaves the comfort of his left subscriber base... very unlikely and unwilling to even concede any rational point or perspective not meant to please that base and keep them captured and paying.
You can see those Substack writers that are truly objective and balanced journalists... they tend to have fewer subscribers because most of the money spent on subscriptions is from the upper class left.

Well, that's a roundabout way to say "Right-wingers don't read." But we can all see that's true from your example.
As your subscription count drops, you get more balanced. If it goes up, you panic and get worse.
